How to find
Pons is situated 20 km south of Saintes and 100 km north of Bordeaux,
5 km from the exit 36 of the motorway. The main "route national" serving Pons is the RN 137. The Pons-Avy aerodrome is also in the proximity.
On landing on the Pons-Avy aerodrome, or disembarking a train at the station in Pons we can easily come to collect you in a car and accompany you to our hotel.
Pons is a medieval city in the Haute Saintogne aera. It was built on the summit and the slopes of a steep rock and it's shores aer lapped by the river Seugne.

The dungeon and the Chateaux which date from the 10th and 11th centuries with the French Style public gardens.

The town is situated on the "Pilgrims way" of Saint Jacques de Compostelle and has a pilgrims hostel. The vaults of the hospital have been classified as worls heritage by UNESCO since 1999.
